English as a Foreign Language (EFL)
English as a Foreign Language is a 120 hours program specifically designed to equip our students, especially those who join the University from non-English speaking countries with the know-how to facilitate a smooth transition as they pursue University education. It can also be pursued by students seeking to polish their language skills. Our training aims to meet every student’s needs.
Target Group
- Non-English speaking students and interested individuals
Learning Outcome
- At the end of the training, the participants should have excellent oral and written communication skills in the new language, with exceptional grammar, sentence structure, fluency, and understanding.
Swahili Language and Culture
Swahili language is a national language in Kenya. It is a language mostly spoken in East and Central Africa and gaining prominence in other African countries. The Kiswahili language and culture aspect are closely connected and for a person to master the language, it is also important to understand the culture of the people.
The language is taught to different groups, including but not limited to International Students, Expatriates, Missionaries and native citizens interested in sharpening their communicative ability in the language.
